Market introduction:

The Maruti Suzuki Ignis was launched in India in January, 2017.

Engine and specification:

The Maruti Suzuki Ignis is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 82bhp and 113Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual and AMT gearboxes.

Exterior design:

Appearance-wise, the Ignis gets an appealing front fascia with reworked grille and projector headlamps with daytime running lights. The contrasting silver-finished skid plates both fore and aft are now more imposing than before. Also, as a part of the update in 2020 is a rear roof-mounted spoiler. The Ignis rides on 15-inch alloy wheels that are painted in gloss black.

Interior and features:

On the inside, the Ignis sports a dual-tone theme, a touchscreen infotainment system, a psuh start/stop button, tilt steering-mounted controls, automatic climate control, auto-foldable ORVMs, and 60:40 split rear seats.

Colours:

The Maruti Suzuki Ignis is available in five monotone and three dual-tone colour shades that include Arctic White, Glistening Grey, Turquoise Blue, Silky Silver, Lucent Orange, and Nexa Blue. The Lucent Orange colour can be had with a contrast black roof while the Nexa Blue is available with silver and black roof.

The Maruti Suzuki Ignis has a seating capacity of five occupants.
